ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION :
a. The following describes the criteria as per the latest communications received from
the concerned Authorities (i.e., the Dept. of H&FW, Govt. of W.B.).
b. The applicant must be a citizen of India.
1. Age Limit: The minimum age of admission shall be 17 years on 31th December of the years in which admission is sought, The maximum age limit shall be 35 years on 31st December of the years in which admission is sought.
2. Gender: Only Female.
3. Residence: Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal uninterruptedly for at least last 10 years till 31.12.2022 and she must be a permanent resident of a Gram Panchayat area.
4. Minimum educational qualification: Must pass the ‘10+2’ examination with English as one of the subjects from any recognized Board in regular class mode.
i. Vocational Stream-Health Care Sc. with at least 40% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in English.
5. Language: Must be able to read, write and express in Bengali and/or Nepali.
6. Medical fitness: All candidates must be medically fit for the course and produce a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of admission in the format (as provided by the Dept of H&FW, Govt of W.B.)
B.Sc. Nursing

AFFILIATION : The Course is Affiliated by Indian Nursing Council.
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION : The medium of instruction will be English
Eligibility criteria for admission-
⧫ The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
⧫ Minimum educational qualification:
a) Candidate with science who has passed the qualifying 12th standard examination (10 + 2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45%marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.
b) Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by the state government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
c) English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission toB.Sc.(Nursing).
⧫ Colorblind candidates are eligible provided the color corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
⧫ Candidates shall be medically fit.
⧫ Married candidates are also eligible for admission.
⧫ Students with JENPAS will be eligible.
⧫ foreign nationals: The entry qualification equivalency i.e., the 12th standard will be obtained by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Institution, SNRC, and University will be responsible to ensure that the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to what has been prescribed by the Council.
